Many people opt not to visit the dentist for regular check-ups due to fear or dental anxiety. At Royal Square Dental, we prioritize our patients’ comfort every time they step into our office. To ensure a more enjoyable visit, we offer a range of comfort aids. These include:

Topical Anaesthetic

A fruit-flavoured ointment applied directly to the skin or inside the mouth to numb the area where the dentist will be working. Dentists use this to alleviate pain when administering local anaesthesia before procedures.

Local Anaesthetic

A medication injected into the gum or inner cheek to numb a part of the patient’s mouth during a dental procedure. Often, the patient remains numb for several hours after the treatment, making eating or drinking difficult. This is normal, but if pain is experienced after the numbness subsides, we advise patients to call our office immediately.
